Ice Thickness

We have integrated a real-time, one dimensional ice thickness model into the INFOS platform for the Yahara Lakes. Meteorological data is used as the forcing condition input for the numerical model. Past research has shown that each of Yahara Lakes reach different ice thicknesses over the course of the winter and the ice on period is variable from year to year and lake to lake.
