High-Resolution Rapid Refressh (HRRR)

HRRR is a NOAA operational weather prediction system. It provides a horizontal resolution of 3km. NOAA developed HRRR to serve users needing frequently updated high-resolution, short-range weather forecasts, especially those in the US with severe weather forecast needs. HRRR model outputs are provided every 6 hours, producing 36 hour forecasts. INFOS integrates the HRRR weather predictions into lake level and flow model forecasts for the Yahara Lakes.
