Goodland County Park Beach - Lake Waubesa

DIRECTIONS:
Located on the west shore of Lake Waubesa. Take US 14 to CTY MM, then south on Goodland Park Rd.
DESCRIPTION:
Goodland Park is on the west shore of Lake Waubesa. It is one of Dane County's oldest parks, and home to several burial mounds. There is a swimming area and a boat launch provided. The Madison & Dane County Public Health Department started monitoring county beaches in 2008. In 2009, the Goodland Beach closed 4 times (19 days total) due to high levels of blue green algae.
