Latitude  43°00'32", Longitude  89°18'18", on left bank just downstream from bridge on Exchange St, approximately 2000 ft downstream from dam at outlet of Lake Waubesa and 1.0 mi south of McFarland.
DRAINAGE AREA:
327 square miles, 36.6 is non-contributing.
PERIOD OF RECORD:
November 2003 to present.
GAGE:
A shallow-water acoustic stage-velocity system. Datum of gage is 835.00 ft above sea level (NGVD 1929).
REMARKS:
This gage is operated in conjunction with the 05429500 station. The velocity data are used to improve the record during periods of backwater caused by weed growth. Flow regulated by dams at outlets of Lake Mendota and Lake Waubesa.
